It is not unusual for me to be at home looking at a photograph recently made and see something I hadn't noticed when making the image. Often that is a bad thing, meaning I have included something that shouldn't be in the photograph! Occasionally I'm lucky, and it is a little something that enhances the photo. Here I was trying to get a shot without any ducks, but the ones that snuck in actually add to the image:
The other day I was out photographing, and came across an oak tree with an interesting trunk. I composed a photo, seeing nothing more than some bare wood, bark, a split, and a couple of holes. Imagine my surprise when the image popped up on my computer screen and I saw what you are probably seeing right away!
